- Welcome to GetIT!: We hope you
find this site useful, and if there are any questions you'd like
added, or tutorials you'd like to see on this site, please
let us know. We'll be expanding this site more and more, so
we need your input on what you'd like to see. And, if you have
any classroom activities that use technology, we're hoping you'll
share those here in the site, too.
- Labs upgraded!: The labs now use
Windows 2000 operating system and have the new WebDrive installed.
Be sure to check the tutorial for details on how to use this system.
CAC and Douglass have been fully upgraded with new Dell computers.
Livingston has been upgraded with new software and 2 new computers.
- Upcoming Workshops: The Teaching
Excellence Center has a wide variety of upcoming workshops
you may be interested in. Topics include Dreamweaver, Excel, web
design, and Windows file management. On September 23 there's an
introduction to Word with a workshop on intermediate Word on September
30. Dreamweaver basic is on October 18 with an intermediate workshop
to follow on October 24. All workshops are open to all Rutgers
faculty and staff, and you can register online.
- Eden/RCI Webmail: It is now possible
for you to check your Eden or RCI e-mail over the web! Rather
than use the old Telnet/Pine system, for Eden, browse to https://webmail.eden.rutgers.edu,
or to check your RCI mail, browse to https://webmail.rci.rutgers.edu.
