the classpage system

Introduction:
The classpage system serves as an online directory for the program. But it's more than that. It allows you to create a homepage for each class you teach, even if you know nothing about making web pages! You can post reminders, assignments, and links. You can have your students join a class mailing list and send mass emails to your class. You can also use the system to reserve time in one of the Writing Program's computer classrooms.

Getting Started:
Before you can access and view your classpage, you will need to create your classpage account. Since this is a public web site, and the account setup information is secure, you will need to contact Barclay Barrios to obtain that information. Barclay can direct you to the URL with tutorials on setting up and using the system.

Handouts for Students:
Once your site is created, give this handout [ Word | PDF | FlashPaper ] to your students to help them find the site.

Other Concerns:
If you have questions, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions section. You may also want to look at the "Activities" section, which contains documents explaining various ways to interact with technology in the classroom and labs, contributed by teachers.
