Layout:
The Layout tab provides you with a variety of options to create an efficient layout for your web pages.

- Table:
Insert a table based on a wide variety of specifications (including height, width, number of columns, number of rows, border width, etc).
- Insert Div Tag:
Div tags are best used in conjunction with Style Sheets.
- Draw Layer:
Physically draw a new “layer” onto your web page.

These three extra views allow you to design and control your layout to an extreme degree.
- Layout Table:
While in the extra “Layout” view, you can draw a table to be used as a layout.
- Draw Layout Cell:
Similar to the above, while in the “Layout” view, you can draw cells to be used in designing a layout.
- Insert Row Above:
Inserts a row to a table above the cursor.
- Insert Row Below:
Inserts a row to a table below the cursor.
- Insert Row Left:
Inserts a row to a table to the left of the cursor.
- Insert Row Right:
Inserts a row to a table to the right of the cursor.
- Frames:
Insert a variety of types of frames to be used in a web page layout.
- Import Tabular Data:
Dreamweaver will attempt to import a data file formatted into a table.
