Making a PDF File from a Web Page:
It's also possible to make PDF files based on web pages on the Internet. There are two ways you can create PDF files from web pages. The first way is to go to the web page itself in the Internet Explorer web browser and create it from there. Another way is to load a web page (or the entire website) in Adobe Acrobat and save it as a PDF file.

Make a PDF File from a Web Page Using Internet Explorer:
Use Internet Explorer [insert link to tutorial] to open up any web page you want (you can do this by typing the web page's URL in the address bar, accessing a bookmark, or using a search engine to find the desired web page). When you get to the page you want to print, navigate to the menu bar and select File >> Print. A "Print" window will then appear.

Under the "General" tab, choose "Acrobat Distiller" from the list. Then press the "Print" button.

The "Save PDF file As" window will then appear. Browse to a location on your computer where you want to save the PDF file and give it a file name. Then click on the "Save" button. After it "prints," you will be able to open and view the PDF file in Acrobat.

Please note that when using this method to create a PDF file from a web page, it only saves the current website you are viewing in Internet Explorer. It doesn't print an entire website to PDF. If you want to save an entire website as a PDF file, then please use the method detailed below.

Make a PDF File from a Web Page Using Adobe Acrobat:
When Adobe Acrobat creates a PDF file from a web page (or site), it basically downloads the entire website, and converts it into a viewable PDF file.

Open up the Adobe Acrobat program. Go to the menu bar and select File >> Open Web Page. From there, the "Open Web Page" window will open.

There will be a number of settings available that will allow you to control how Adobe Acrobat creates the PDF file from the web page. If you wish to turn an entire site into a PDF file, then click on the "Get Entire Site" option. Keep in mind that this may take a long time if you are working with a large site. Use this option with caution. Click on the "Stay on the Same Server" box if you only want to retrieve files associated with the server on which the site is saved. Check the "Only Get Pages Under Same Path" if there is a specific folder on the site where you want to download files from. This is a more advanced option, so only check this box if you are familiar with the site structure of the site you are downloading. You can also use the "Browse" feature if you already have an .html file saved on your computer that you want to save as a PDF file. Once you have made all of your settings adjustments, click on the "Download" button. Adobe Acrobat will download the web page (or site) from the Internet and load it into the program.

When the web page (or site) has been downloaded to Adobe Acrobat, you can save it as a PDF document. Go to the menu bar and select File >> Save As. In the "Save As" window, give the file a name and then save it to a location on your computer. Adobe Acrobat will convert the web page into the PDF format. You will now be able to open and view the PDF file.
